What is wrong with this toy??

Hunter has a toy that he has recently started to pay attention to and like to play with. Yesterday, I finally got a picture of what he does each time he puts the birdie's beak into his mouth. I'm not sure why anyone made that beak out of felt, but it sure is cute to see it tickle his mouth or nose as he puts in his mouth!

Tailgating with the Cousins

This past Saturday, Hunter got to go and tailgate for the second weekend in a row. This time he went with Mama, Daddy, Aunt Amanda, Cousins Britt and Caleb, Nana, Cody, and Tyler. We all had a great time tailgating, but the game was a different story! :(

Aunt Amanda holds Hunter while he watches the boys play football. We had him laying on the blanket while the boys were playing football, but he wanted to see them play so bad that he kept practicing his crunches to be able to see them. Finally Aunt Amanda couldn't take it longer and she decided to hold him and let him watch the boys play!
Hunter's new best friend these days - A WATER BOTTLE!!! He loves water bottles! He knows exactly what to do with them (that may be because we have let him have a sip or two from a water bottle before). So needless to say, when Nana was drinking water from a water bottle, Hunter definitely wanted to sit with her!
What a cute picture of the cousins all together in their Clemson outfits! Don't those North Carolina boys look good in orange??!! :)
While Nana and Aunt Amanda watched Hunter, Daddy and Mama took Britt and Caleb to their first Clemson football game ever (thanks to Amanda and Erik for the tickets!!). They really had a great time and they mentioned several times that it sure was a lot different from a Franklin High School football game! :)
I think they were the loudest cheerleaders there! They did a great job cheering on the tigers, even if they did lose. The best cheer was when Britt yelled..."Hey we're hungry!" What the fans around us didn't know was that he was yelling that because he wanted the team to score 28 points so we could get a free taco from Taco Bell. Instead the fans looked around at us, like get those kids some food! :) It was hilarious!! We had a great time!

Talk, Talk, Talk

Even though you may not be able to understand what Hunter is saying, he wants to make sure you hear him these days. We went out to eat with the Gilmer family on Friday night to Just More BBQ and you will see Hunter really enjoyed talking to Tinsley!

Down, Set, Hut...

Our little "Future 1st Round Draft Pick" (according to his shirt) is beginning to learn to throw the football with Daddy. Hunter would take the football when Daddy handed it to him, he would then try it out by eating it, then push it up and throw it to the side. Daddy was so proud!

Visit with the Dickenson Family

This week the Dickenson family paid Hunter a visit, some for the first time! Mr. and Mrs. Dickenson are two sweet people that we came to know through their daughter, Amanda. Amanda was Mama's roommate in college and they have remained good friends for several years now. She came over with her mom and dad to see Hunter for the first time! We had a great visit and Hunter can't wait for them to come back and play with him again!

Grandpa With No "Teefers"

We weren't sure if Hunter had a chapped lower lip or if he just discovered that he can suck on his bottom lip, but this has been his look for the past week off and on. To us, he looks as though he is a Grandpa trying to cover up his lack of teeth!

Hunter Cheers Up Great-Granny Moretz

This weekend after the Clemson football game Hunter, Mama, and Daddy went to Boone, NC to cheer up Great-Granny Moretz. She just recently broke her shoulder and had surgery, so we wanted to go and see her and tell her we love her and to get better soon! Hunter was asleep when we got there but soon woke up to talk to Granny and climb on her bed with her! Hopefully she will be on the road to a strong recovery soon and will be coming to Franklin to be closer to us!

Hunter's First Tailgating Experience..GO TIGERS!

Saturday was Hunter's first Clemson football tailgating experience! He looked so cute out there with his orange overalls and Clemson hat!! Even though he and Mimi didn't go to the game with us, they still came and ate and enjoyed time together before the game. Hopefully this is just the beginning of many tailgating experiences for Hunter. He was so good and we all really enjoyed the fall-like weather!

We don't have many pictures together on the blog as a family, so we thought what a great day to get one of us with our cutie!

Hunter doesn't like the camera at all! haha :) Mimi, Pops, and Aunt Amy all posed with our little tiger model as well!

Found: PICTURES (A few we didn't have)

While Mimi and Pops were here over the weekend, Mama got some pictures off of their camera that she had been wanting to post on the blog. Below are a few pictures from the last couple of weeks.

This is what Hunter gets when Mama is away!

Sometimes Hunter thinks he can fly!

This is what I was writing about the other day....one of the fun things Hunter and Mimi do during the Clemson football games! :)

Before long, we'll have to get a bigger laundry basket!

The cousins hang out together at the Poindexter Family Reunion two Sundays ago. Hey..how did Misty get out of getting her picture taken? Guess we'll have to search her down next time! :)

Cousin Bre enjoys spoiling and holding Hunter! What a great help!

Hunter Gets Ready to Cheer on Daddy

Hunter was dressed and ready to go to Daddy's softball game this week. We took the opportunity to get a few shots of him practicing cheering on his Daddy! Look at that hair peeking out of his hat in the second picture! It has grown so much in just the last week!!

Hunter Makes His Debut in Death Valley

This past Sunday night, Daddy had a photo shoot in Clemson University's football stadium - Death Valley. Well we just couldn't pass up the opportunity to take Hunter along as well, in his Clemson orange overalls, to get his picture taken on the field as well. When would we ever get another time when we can have the field to ourselves to just take any pictures we wanted!? If only Hunter would not have been sleepy, the pictures would have turned out even better and we would have had a lot more!! Maybe we will get another chance to do that some time. We had a great time and we can't wait to see Spiller and Davis this Saturday run right over the place that Hunter sat and spit up on!!!! :)

Hunter Goes to Reunion #2

This past Sunday, Hunter went to his first "Poindexter Reunion" in Franklin, NC. In this picture, Mimi is introducing Hunter to one of his new baby girl cousins. He kept wanting to touch her and reach for her! I think Mimi enjoyed getting to show off Hunter to everyone and I think he liked that as well!! :)

Along the side of the "barn" that we had our reunion in was a stream. Daddy thought Hunter should stick his feet in a stream for the first time. I know it had to be a little chilly but he really didn't seem to mind it at all. While we were there, cousins Misty and Bre spoiled Hunter as well! Hunter did a great job! Even when he got tired, he finally just collapsed right down on his Daddy's shoulder. It was so cute!

Hunter Enjoys Playing with His Cousins

Hunter really liked playing with his cousins last Saturday night when we were at Nana and Papaws. Caleb was so nice to Hunter that he told Hunter "Okay you can do whatever to me, even eat me if you want to!" :) How sweet!! As you can see - Hunter loved playing and attacking him on the floor!!

Getting Ready to Cheer on the Clemson Tigers

Hunter, Pops, and Aunt Amy all posed before getting ready for the Clemson football game last Saturday. Mama, Daddy, Pops, and Aunt Amy all went to the game, while Mimi kept Hunter. She has some pictures I will be posting as soon as I get them on the computer. The pictures show what they did during the game...hint...Hunter now enjoys playing in the clothes basket! haha

Hunter Tries Carrots for the First Time

This past Monday, we decided to let Hunter try some "real" baby food. We thought we would start out with carrots, but after three days of trying to force him to like it, we switched to green beans (which so far is having about the same results as the carrots). Oh well, maybe one day he will just decide that they aren't as bad as they seem to be! :) As for now, we are giving up the carrots until a later date.

Hunter Thinks He is a Big Boy

Hunter has discovered that he likes to drink like adults and wants whatever you are drinking, especially if you have a water bottle. I guess he thinks it is very similar to his bottle. We decided to get him his own cup and let him try to drink some water and sure enough he knew exactly how to get that water out!

Look What Mama Found Her Boys Doing

Father and son bonding time - on the cell phones! This is what Mama found them doing when she was coming back from the laundry room last night - Hunter and Daddy not talking to anyone, but playing with the cell phones and eating them! Hunter always looks forward to his "Daddy time" in the evenings!

What a Great Change

Hunter was excited that there was other food than rice cereal, even if it was another cereal - oatmeal! We started him on oatmeal Tuesday morning and he loves it! At first I just tried a little bit of it like we did the rice cereal, but this time it was different. When we were finished, he looked up at me like "I want more!" Yesterday, we gave it to him twice and he ate it all, both times! You will see in some of the pictures just how excited he got when he saw the spoon coming each time!
