Meeting Karter!

This past week, Hunter and I got the privilege of meeting baby Karter. One of my friends from Six Mile had her second little boy and Hunter and I got to meet him last Thursday! He was so cute but so tiny in comparison to what Hunter had been like when he was born. I was anxious to see how Hunter would react with him. He was okay at first, but when I had held him for about 3 minutes, he said "All done with this?" Great! I hope he gets better with Mama holding another baby by August! However as soon as we left the hospital room, he wanted to go back in and said "Fun in there!" while pointing at the room! So maybe he will be okay. I guess we will see in a few months!

It's Another Boy!

It's a boy! We are so excited to let everyone know that Hunter will have a little brother! This obviously is an older ultrasound, but thought we better not post the latest showing it actually is a boy. He may kill me one day for that! We found out at 15 weeks because of a few complications, but the worrying of going in for problems turned out to be a great surprise...we learned the sex of the baby before we were supposed to! We were thrilled and even more excited that Hunter will have a little buddy to play with one day! I am 18 weeks now and things are going good! We are looking forward to another ultrasound next week where we will get more detailed video and pictures! And yes, we do have a name. We actually were able to settle on this name much quicker than with Hunter. Hunter's little brother will be Peyton Isaac Bowman! We are excited about August and can't wait to meet Peyton!

Poor, Poor, Hunter...

The last day we spent in Franklin, Hunter woke up with a bad rash all over him. We at first thought it was an allergic reaction to a cat. He had never been around cats at all and the day before that he had petted and played with two different cats and loved them both! We just assumed, no cats at our house ever...until the rash got worse throughout the day and Benadryl just didn't seem to help! Day two of the rash was even worse (the picture from above was taken on day2) and I decided it was time to get it checked out. Well some research had been done and finally we thought it was an allergic reaction to Amoxicillin, which he had taken and finished up about three days before the rash. Sure enough, when I took him to the doctor that Tuesday, the Dr. said to make sure he never had that again or anything related such as Penicillin! Poor guy...plus it was a good thing we took him b/c he also was getting strep throat on top of that! We were supposed to go to a Clemson basketball game that night, but obviously we ended up staying home that evening instead. The rash took about a week to go away but if you ask him now how he is, he says he "feel better!"

Happy Birthday Nana!

A couple of weekends ago, Hunter, Daddy, and I went to Franklin to celebrate Nana's birthday and to stay a few days with them. We went up on a Friday night and went to Aunt Amanda's house to celebrate Nana's birthday when we got there. Aunt Amanda fixed a great dinner and we had a good time!

Hunter got Nana an Edible Arrangement and a fresh strawberry cake!

Hunter, Britt, and Caleb all sang Happy Birthday to Nana! Hunter wouldn't sing until Britt got him the pretend microphone to sing into!

That next morning, we got to watch Britt and Caleb play basketball. They did a great job and Hunter had fun hanging out with each of the boys during the game and cheering for them! I hope Hunter enjoys sports as much as his cousins do!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame!

Thanks to Aunt Amy, we got to enjoy a Clemson baseball game a couple of Sunday's ago. Clemson was playing Furman and since she works at Furman, she was able to get us a few tickets to see the Tigers play baseball! We were a little worried how Hunter would do sitting that long, but he did great and really enjoyed his afternoon at the ballpark!

He thought he was cool stuff sitting on top of the big baseballs outside the park!

It was such a good day for a baseball game! It was really the first nice, warm day out all winter long!

After a few innings, we decided to try out the new outfield seats. We found that we liked these more than being closer. Plus Hunter was under the covered area and he had plenty of room to run around. Thanks Aunt Amy for a fun afternoon of baseball!

SNOW #2

This snow was so much better this time around! We had close to 4 inches and it was beautiful! The only negative thing about it was that it melted WAY too fast!! I'm just glad we were able to take the time to enjoy it and was on the weekend when Michael was home too! What a great time we had and Hunter is still talking about his snow angels today!

This time the snowman was a little bigger than 8 inches, but we still wanted to make it Hunter size so he could enjoy it.
Hunter and his snowman! He had cherry lollipops for eyes, a carrot nose, and at one time had goldfish for a mouth. The goldfish however did not want to cooperate and so the snowman ended up without a mouth!

Poor snowman looked as if it had been murdered the next morning!! Next time we will know to leave the wrappers on the lollipops!

Hunter's favorite thing about this snow was the next two things...throwing snowballs and making snow angels! He was really good at both!

He was a little hesitant at first but every time he got up, he would say "AGAIN!"

A family snow picture! What a great time we had as a family! We look forward to more snows in the future!

Snow #1

Hunter was so excited to see snow and couldn't wait to go outside and play in it. The first round of snow we got here in Greer was not but about a couple of inches but Hunter still had a blast! It was more icy and wasn't really too good to be able to play in. Below are a few pics of Hunter super excited over "SNOW MAMA!"

He couldn't wait to get all of his snow gear on to go out!

It was still flurrying and Hunter decided that he would try Daddy's trick...catch snowflakes with his tongue!
This is Hunter and Daddy's attempt to make an ice/snowman! It was about 8 inches but Hunter was so proud of it! Daddy put it right outside the front door so Hunter could go and look at it whenever he wanted. At one time he even took my cell phone to the window to "show" Mimi his snowman! It was so cute!

Tee it Up!

Hunter in action...

Hunter got a baseball tee and bat for Christmas from his Mimi and Pop and we have had to try it out every chance we get. There have been a lot of rainy, cold days but anytime we mention going outside, he makes sure we have the tee, bat, and balls with us. We at first were letting him hit the balls inside but soon found out that he was too good to be hitting inside. Now that the weather has begun to warm up, he looks forward to taking his tee to the playground any chance we get!

A True Tiger Fan!

This was taken outside of Mimi and Pop's house in Fort Mill. Hunter walked right up to the flag and began trying to spell out the C-L-E-M-S-O-N cheer! He can finish it up with the O and N but he still needs a little work on the first part of the word. Maybe this one will make Clemson World!

Fun Factory!

Hunter got his first experience with the Fun Factory in Franklin. Nana had gotten a few Factory cards and Hunter, Britt, and Caleb all went and had a blast! Even Mama and Daddy had fun too!
This was one of Hunter's favorites...skeeball! He thought it was so much fun, but it also frustrated him more than any other game because he was just not strong enough to get the balls to the targets. He never gave up though!
This was a fun one for Daddy too! They got to shoot the gun at the objects and every time they hit the target it made noises or moved in some way.
Hunter really thought he was riding Thomas! :)
Surprisingly he was really good at hitting the alligators as they popped out! What fun! We will definitely have to go to the Factory again soon!
