Poor, Poor, Hunter...
The last day we spent in Franklin, Hunter woke up with a bad rash all over him. We at first thought it was an allergic reaction to a cat. He had never been around cats at all and the day before that he had petted and played with two different cats and loved them both! We just assumed, no cats at our house ever...until the rash got worse throughout the day and Benadryl just didn't seem to help! Day two of the rash was even worse (the picture from above was taken on day2) and I decided it was time to get it checked out. Well some research had been done and finally we thought it was an allergic reaction to Amoxicillin, which he had taken and finished up about three days before the rash. Sure enough, when I took him to the doctor that Tuesday, the Dr. said to make sure he never had that again or anything related such as Penicillin! Poor guy...plus it was a good thing we took him b/c he also was getting strep throat on top of that! We were supposed to go to a Clemson basketball game that night, but obviously we ended up staying home that evening instead. The rash took about a week to go away but if you ask him now how he is, he says he "feel better!"
