Stylin'

This was a new outfit from Old Navy and it was Hunter's first time wearing it. He wanted to show it off by leaning against the ottoman on Sunday morning before church. What a showoff!

Granny's Gift to Hunter

Great-Granny Moretz gave Hunter a gift on Saturday that he opened with her. It was a gift she had been planning on giving Hunter and since she is now in Franklin and feeling much better from her surgery, it made it easier. We are glad she is much closer to us now! Thanks Granny!

Playing with my Cousins!

Saturday evening, we went to Franklin to visit the Bowman family, eat with them, and play with Hunter's cousins Britt and Caleb. Although it was just for a few hours, Hunter had a blast playing with Britt and Caleb. Here are a few things the cousins did...

A Night Out with Friends

Wednesday night we met our friends April and Scott for dinner in Anderson. We were a little worried about how Hunter would do at Texas Roadhouse, but he did great! He just sat and watched us eat and catch up with our friends. Although, you have to make sure you don't get food or a drink too close or he will definitely have it in his mouth or lap! :) He's a quick one! We will definitely have to get together again soon with them. We always have fun hanging out with them! Thanks for a fun evening! :)

Tigers Finally Pull it Together at Homecoming!

Saturday was Clemson's homecoming game and the tigers finally looked like they knew what they were doing, or maybe Duke was just that bad...not sure which was the case! This is us on our way up to our seats.
This Saturday, Derek and Amy came with us to the game. We had a lot of fun! Maybe they were the good luck charms! :)

The Tigers running down the infamous hill!

One of my favorite floats

This was a good one too and it actually won. There were a lot of little details in this float.

As you can see, we didn't take our little Hunter this time. It was definitely too cold and windy! It was really hard to find someone to watch him...haha. We had to pay Mimi a lot! :) I'm not sure everything they did, but I do know that Hunter slept a good bit of the day and they played the rest. They must not have had time to take pictures this week or either Mimi didn't want her picture on here again! :)

Hunter's Favorite Chore

OK..so I was lying! Hunter is not so found of getting his fingernails cut! He is however getting better!
At least I got this smile after we were finished!

A Visit to see Santa

Yesterday, Mama took Hunter to Six Mile Elementary to see Santa and to get his picture with him! We can't wait to see them! Hopefully I'll be able to post some soon! While there, he saw his buddy Braylon and of course we had to get a picture of the two buds together!

Photo Opportunities Around Dollywood

We took the opportunity to get several pictures of Hunter throughout the Dollywood park. There were so many cute decorations set up everywhere!
Our little toy soldier!
We had a hard time getting him to smile because he had too much other things to pay attention to!

What a perfect little gift!

There were several funny reindeer to pose with!

We had a great time at Dollywood and hope that we can go back at least one more time during the holiday season!

Santa's Workshop

We took this "babe" inside Santa's workshop in Dollywood! We did see Santa but didn't wait in line to get Hunter's picture with him because Hunter already had a trip planned to see Santa the next day at Six Mile Elementary. We did however see Santa's elves hard at work making toys and helping Santa with the boys and girls that came to visit him. We just took a few pictures inside the workshop of Hunter and some toys.

Daddy and Mama get on Rides with Hunter

Hunter drives the old-timey cars with Daddy. He took one round with Mama and then liked it so much, he drove another round with Daddy! I think the practice with Daddy each day after work really helped him understand what to do. As soon as we were in and buckled up, he immediately grabbed the wheel and started to drive! It was so cute!
This was definitely the tightest fit of all of the rides. I'm not so sure Daddy's legs would have fit in this one. The ducky ride was definitely made for babies! Once again, Hunter acted like a pro behind the wheel! :)

Hunter would have loved for us to actually let him try to eat the pole he was holding on to. It sure looked yummy according to him!
Since Hunter was wearing his Santa's hat around the park, we only found it fitting that on the carousel ride, he should ride on the reindeer! Daddy stood beside him and held him, while Mama rode a horse beside Hunter. I think it got a little dizzy for Daddy just standing there while the ride was going around and around!

Hunter did so good on the rides this time. He really seemed to enjoy them all! The only one we didn't get a picture of him on was the one that we all rode at one time - the ferris wheel. I'm not sure if this is the one he liked the best or the least. The reason I say that is because after the first time around, he was snoozing in between Daddy and Mama. The funny thing is, the man operating the ride said that a lot of kids fall asleep on that ride! Too bad we couldn't take this home to ride at about 3:30am some mornings! :)

Mama's Birthday Adventure!

Wednesday morning, Daddy took off of work and he and Hunter took Mama to Dollywood for her birthday! We had the best time! We normally go on the weekends and it is busy, but since we went during the week, we could get on any ride we wanted with little to no wait at all!
Also this past weekend, Dollywood had set up all of their Christmas season decorations and lights. We also got to see a couple of their Christmas shows that they have during this time. They were great and I highly recommend going to see them if never have. My favorite is the Twas the Night Before Christmas!

A New Face This Little Boy is Making

Hunter wanted to show off his new facial expressions while eating his oatmeal last night!

Celebrating Mama and Daddy's Birthdays

Sunday afternoon, Mimi, Pops, and Aunt Amy came over to celebrate Mama and Daddy's birthdays. They brought with them this great birthday cake that everyone enjoyed!
They all rolled around in the floor with Hunter and checked out his new tricks since the last time they had seen him - army crawling and kicking the ball. Hunter has Mimi right where he wants her! :)

Hunter helped Mama open her presents. She got a lot of great gifts and can't wait to wear her new clothes!! Daddy's birthday had already passed, so he had already gotten to open his gifts with Hunter the week before.

Hunter's Night out on the Town

Saturday night, Mama and Daddy's Sunday School class went to Clemson University and had a fun evening of pizza and bowling. As you can see above, Hunter gave up on rolling the ball with his hands and retreated back to what he knows he can do - kick the ball!

After Hunter's long night in the lanes, :) he and his friend Troy hung out together. We were trying to get Troy to teach Hunter how to clap (which was Troy's new trick he learned last week) but Hunter wasn't really trying too hard to learn. Even with the loss of the football game, both boys wore their outfits to support their tigers! What cute boys!

Giving up on the Tigers?

Daddy and Hunter may look like they have given up on their tigers during the Clemson/Florida State game, but this is actually a pregame nap. They probably should have just slept through the whole game as well! They wouldn't have missed much!

Hunter's New Ride

Over the weekend we had to move Hunter to his big boy car seat! He was not so excited about it at first but it is growing on him. I think it had a lot to do with us pulling, adjusting, and us just trying to figure out all of the gadgets. I will have to take a picture of his feet to show everyone how he ALREADY touches the back of the seat! I'm not sure this boy will be rear-facing until he is 1 year old like they recommend. We definitely have a growing boy!

Anyone Want to Guess Why Hunter is Turning Red?

Yes, you got it - filling his diaper while eating green beans or I guess I should say spitting out green beans. This kid doesn't like ANY veggies besides squash! I think we have a picky eater on our hands...not sure where he would get that from! :)

The Next David Beckham

While we don't have a soccer ball, Hunter has taken a liking to kicking the volleyball we have. We are a little worried though...he is kicking the ball with his left foot!!!! No one on either side of our family is left-handed!! Hopefully this is just how he is learning, but he does it EVERY time! Oh well, I guess time will tell. Below are a few pictures of Hunter in action. He is actually really good at it!

Look at that follow-through!
