For the last few years, we have gone to Franklin to get our Christmas tree. When I say Franklin, it is more like WAY up on a side of a mountain near Highlands! It is great that we can actually go and pick it out and not just go to the store and get one or on the side of the road. This way we know for sure that it is freshly cut since we cut it ourselves! Although we have to go 4-wheeling to get there it seems like and for the last two years, it has been rainy and cold. The cold part I don't mind because it reminds me of Christmas, but the rainy part makes the trip scary!!! Let's just say, I didn't grow up hanging off the side of mountains going 4-wheeling in the mud! So it was a bumpy, sliding, rough ride! Nana rode with Daddy and I and held Hunter's head as it flopped back and forth in his car seat!

Hunter, like Mama, wasn't so sure of the trip up the side of the mountain, but we were both happy when we made it to the top! Nana held our little snow bunny while we were looking for a tree.

Hunter helped Mama and Daddy pick out this gorgeous tree! He touched it and approved it before we cut it down. I think he was kind of confused about why we were cutting down a tree!

A family portrait in front of our tree before we cut it down. On a clear day, the view is SOOO pretty and you can see mountains for miles away! I hope that we have better weather for our trip next year so we can see the beautiful view again.

This is a picture of all of the boys (Caleb, Justin, Britt, and Hunter) in front the Justin's "perfect" tree. Justin is the little boy who sells us our tree each year. Each year, he picks out his perfect tree and tags it so no one can buy it. He said he wanted $10 just to take a picture in front of it! He definitely likes money! :)

There was a little snow left from earlier in the week when we got our ten snowflakes at our house, so Daddy let Hunter touch it. Hunter wasn't quite sure about it. I hope we get a foot of snow this year for Hunter!!!

We tried to get a picture of Hunter with Aunt Amanda, but Hunter was too interested in trying to see what the boys were up to. I could tell he just can't wait to run around with them and keep up!
