Hunter's Big Accomplishment on his B-day Week!

The week before his second birthday, we decided it was time for Hunter to be a big boy and learn to use the potty! I had tried it in January, after he got his potty from Santa, but he was scared and very frustrated when he couldn't do it. So I gave up until the week before he turned two! It turned out great because Mimi was on Spring Break, so we took a trip to Fort Mill for "Potty Boot Camp!" haha. Just what Mimi wanted to do on her Spring Break! :) The first couple of days were kind of difficult because he did have several accidents, but by day 3, it was like it just clicked! We were so excited! Mimi had printed out a Mickey Mouse Potty Chart and each time he went to the potty, he got to put a sticker on the chart. That worked great because he loves both of those things- Mickey Mouse and stickers! I think he would have been just as happy to get the praise, hugs, and kisses each time. It was great to see how proud of himself he was each time he was successful! He has now been trained about a month and things are going great! I actually feel comfortable leaving the house again and he is still just as excited to see us so proud of him! I'm glad we stuck to it, even when people tried to tell me he was too young!
