This year, we had originally thought we may substitute our annual Christmas sugar cookies for a gingerbread house, but then we decided we couldn't give up the sugar cookies after Mimi found the cute aprons for the boys. Plus I knew Hunter and Peyton would both enjoy making the cookies this year. So we passed on the gingerbread house but then Mimi found a rice krispie treat house and thought that may be fun to do as well. After cookies, fudge, snacks, ham, homemade yeast rolls, and so much more food, we decided to hold off of on the krispie house. So then we put the house together just a few days before Christmas. Hunter had a great time decorating
and eating it! At least this way we were able to enjoy the house, since not many of us actually even like gingerbread.
