Memorial Day Trip of Fun

On Memorial Day, Mimi, Hunter, and Mama took a trip to Franklin to visit family. We had a whirlwind day but visited several people throughout the day. We first went to Granny Ruby's house and saw her, Aunt Carolyn, Misty, Bre, and Derek. We then left there after a VERY yummy breakfast and lunch and RED VELVET CAKE and stopped by to see Granny Moretz. After leaving her new place, we stopped by Nana's work and saw her for a few minutes. It was a fun/milkshake-filled day!

Hunter became very close buddies with Derek. I guess it helped that he had some great toys - a cell phone with all kinds of gadgets and a 4-wheeler!
Hunter thought he was big stuff sitting on the 4-wheeler, that is until Derek got on and cranked it up. Then he was not so brave.

On the way back from Franklin, we stopped in Clayton, GA and got Mama and Mimi a Chick-fil-a milkshake, or I guess I should say Mama and Hunter a milkshake. Poor Mimi didn't get too much after Hunter figured out he could drink a milkshake from a straw all on his own! He definitely is a cookies and creme boy!! Good thing Chick-fil-a now makes smaller sizes of milkshakes. I guess they did that just for Hunter...haha!
