Merry Christmas Eve! This year is a little different for our family. Since we really don't have our own house, things were done a little different and it all worked out great! Mimi and Pop came down for Christmas Eve and we got to celebrate Christmas with them that night!

You would be amazed at how many times we took this picture above!! We were trying to take the picture with a camera set to a timer. The only problem was that the camera had a funny beeping noise right as it got time to take the picture and EVERYTIME it got ready to flash, Hunter turned his head to look at us. He thought the sound it made was funny! So we have probably ten pictures where he is looking at different people in the picture!! Finally we changed cameras and we got this picture! It was hilarious and frustrating all at the same time! Hunter may not be smiling, but at least he is looking at the camera!!
We opened gifts with Mimi, Pop, and Aunt Amy that night. Hunter couldn't wait to read his Christmas book that Mimi and Pop got for him. Mimi says she is making a tradition of getting him a Christmas book each Christmas...cute idea! Last year he got a Merry Christmas, Biscuit book.
This gift was quite amazing! About a month before Christmas, Mimi had told us to check out some boots at Stride Rite for Hunter for Christmas and if we liked them then they would get them for him for Christmas. Well the ones we liked the best were the light up ones. We tried them on quickly and then that was the end of that. So Mimi and Pop got them for him for Christmas. He opened the box, pulled them out, and popped the bottom of the shoe with his hand like he knew exactly what they did! Crazy!! We could not believe he remembered that from so long ago! Nothing gets by this boy!!

WOW!!! What a surprise!! Mama, Daddy, and Hunter got a Wii from Mimi and Pop!! We must have been good this year!! We were very excited and have already put it to good use!!!!
Hunter shared Mama and Daddy's Christmas present to our family....for those of you that can't really see the shirt too good...it says "I'm Going to Be A Big Brother"!!! Yes we are pregnant!!! We are very excited about Baby Bowman #2 arriving in August!! Hunter was very excited about showing off his new shirt! We couldn't wait to tell them! We had kept it a secret for a few weeks!!
After we told everyone please buy small this year b/c we were living at Amy's house, she was the one that got him the biggest gift....a tent and tunnel!! He had a lot of fun and we were glad to know that it folds back up easily to fit in the box! I remember having a tent when I was younger and we played in it a lot! I'm sure Hunter will do the same!!
Before we went to bed, for the first time, Hunter left Santa some milk and cookies!!! He was very excited and couldn't wait to see what Santa was going to bring him the next morning!!
