Donald Family Christmas

This year, we decided to celebrate Christmas a little earlier than we normally do with the Donald family. It just happened to work out that a couple of weeks before Christmas was not as busy for everyone. Since Greg and Melissa had not seen Amy's townhouse and we were now living here, we decided to host the party this year! There weren't too many of the family there, but the ones who came had a lot of fun and had a good time with one another! We decided instead of fixing a huge meal and eating a lot, that we would have soups and bread. It worked out great and we had some yummy soups - broccoli, potato, and taco soups. The only problem with fixing soup was that you wanted to try everyone's and not eat just one! The kiddies weren't real soup eaters so we had pizza for them. It was cute to see them all sitting around the Little Tykes picnic table that Mimi and Pop brought from their house!


Grandma, Greg, Melissa, Jacob, Jamie, Mimi, Pop, Amy, Hunter, Michael, and I were all there. We had one more addition as well...Cai! Chuck and Jenny had to go to a Christmas party themselves, so we got to babysit Cai for the night! He was a great addition to the party!

I tried to get the three cousins to pose for a picture, but they were way too interested in playing with their new toys they got! It was amazing to see Hunter play so well with them! Normally Britt and Caleb are the only kiddies he will even begin to think about playing with. He doesn't get to see Jacob and Jamie very much but we need to get them together to play more often. Hunter still talks about them and wants to play with them again! It was cute to watch him run around with them!
