Happy 9 months old Peyton!! I can't believe our baby is nine months old!! He is such a happy baby! You can just look at him and he grins from ear to ear! If he is upset then there is definitely something wrong. He is such a joy in our lives and we are so blessed to have him and Hunter both! These are a few photos that Dada took the week of him turning 9 months...
At Peyton's 9 month appointment, he weighed 20 pounds 15 1/2 ounces...so close to 21 pounds! He was 28 1/4 inches long. These measurements put him in about the 75/80% in both categories. Although this is a little smaller than Hunter was at nine months, he seems to be growing wonderfully!
Peyton did have one thing that was a little low at the doctor and that was his iron levels when they checked his blood by poking him in the toe. His blood level was 10.1 and since kids are supposed to be closer to 12, they have told us to give him an iron supplement every few days to hopefully increase that before his twelve month checkup. They will check him again then. Other than that he looked great and had a good nine month checkup!
Peyton is now crawling pretty good and we'll see if he walks like Hunter at nine months. He was a little slower crawling than Hunter but he may still walk this month. We'll see!
He is now eating regular table food all except for the things such as eggs, honey, strawberries, etc. that babies still cannot have yet. So far his favorite seems to be grilled cheese, just like his big brother!
I just love this pic! We did this one for Hunter, and Michael actually has used it as a background on his photo website..haha! Maybe Peyton will get his pic on the website sometime too! :)
