Rainy Day Fun

Saturday afternoon, Daddy was supposed to have a photoshoot, but it began to rain, so it was postponed. We said instead of sitting around the house, we would go to Franklin and visit Daddy's family. Since we had been in Wahalla for OMC family day, we decided to drive through Highlands to get to Franklin. We wanted to do this because we were going to stop by Dry Falls and let Hunter see the huge waterfall. What we didn't know was that they are doing work on Dry Falls and it was closed! :( We were however able to see a few smaller waterfalls along the way though and it actually stopped raining for us to get out and see them!

This is Bridal Veil Falls. It was a nice surpise to see that you can now drive under the falls again! It was great that it had been raining because it made the falls much bigger! It was so pretty and Hunter was amazed!!

This is a smaller waterfall along the Cullasaja River that you can see as you drive down the road. We pulled over and got out to watch a crazy person kayak down the falls!! He survived the fall, but didn't make it without flipping over!

Hunter wasn't sure about turning his back to the loud rushing water to pose for the camera. He wanted to keep his eyes on the water!
