Hunter's hair is growing, so we had to get another picture of the mohawk during bath time! Hunter seemed kind of clueless as to why we would want to take his picture! :)
I can't believe we forgot to pull up his little cow head to get this picture. It ended up being the best picture we took, but once we saw it later we noticed we didn't have his cow head on! :( Well this is our little moo cow sitting on the back of the hayride at the church fall festival. We didn't actually get to ride on this because either the line was too long or it was too cold each time we thought about it. We did however get to ride on one on Friday night in downtown Seneca. It was fun but MUCH longer than we thought it would be, especially for a 6 1/2 month old!
At the fall festival at church, we walked Hunter around and attempted to let him "play" some games. We thought this one would be easy...pick up a ducky and the game is over, but Hunter had a different idea. He didn't actually want to pick any of them up, but instead he wanted to just touch each of the duckies in the water bucket!
After the duckies, he played PLINKO. He actually did great at this game. The only problem he had at this game was that like he does with a football or any other ball, he wanted to lick or taste the plinko chip before he dropped them.
Since we don't like to carve our pumpkins too early because they rot out quickly, we carved our pumpkin last Thursday night, the night before Halloween. Hunter was not really sure what to think of the pumpkin, but he did want to taste it a time or two to see what he really thought of it!
We let Hunter help clean out some of the seeds and feel the inside of the pumpkin. He wasn't sure what to think of how it felt.
I think he really would have been happy to just roll it around and off of the counter like a ball!
I bet you'll never guess what we carved in the pumpkin?! Believe it or not, this was the first time we actually had a Clemson tiger paw. Daddy did a great job! Hunter and I just sat back mainly and watched him do the tough parts.
Happy Birthday to Daddy! Since Daddy's work normally brings in a cake for birthdays, Hunter and Mama thought they should make Daddy some cupcakes. These are some of his favorites or so he says....red velvet with cream cheese icing!
Hunter enjoys helping Daddy unwrap and open his gifts, even his cards! Mama gave Daddy a new Clemson Fossil watch and Hunter gave Daddy the new Shane and Shane Christmas CD along with a picture frame with several pics of him and his Daddy.
While at the Fall Festival, we ran into some Fort Mill friends that had never met Hunter - the Barefield family - Hailey, Beau, Ashley, and Scott. Scott was Mama's softball coach in high school and over the years we have watched Hailey and Beau be born and grow up. They are a very sweet family and we hope to see them again sometime soon! Hunter really enjoyed watching Beau with his toy he brought with him. Hunter also liked playing and smiling at Hailey as well! They will have to come to Seneca to visit!
On Saturday, Hunter, Mama, and Mimi went to a Fall Festival. It was so much fun and we wished that we had gotten there earlier for the costume contest. Since Chick-fil-A was there as a sponsor, we felt that Hunter had a little bit of an advantage in the contest. Oh well maybe we'll go back next year for that. Since Hunter's experience with the Clemson tiger didn't go so well, I thought it might be best if Hunter just sat in the middle of the girl and boy Chick-fil-A cows instead of them holding him. He did great and so many people commented that he just fit right in with the cow family! We wanted to take him on the hayride and train ride, but the lines were way too long for a little tired boy. He did get a Home Depot work apron for his tools, a wooden football holder to make with his Daddy, and free chicken minis from Chick-fil-A. We'll have to find out of they do this for other holidays!
Since Halloween was less than a week away, we decided that we better check to make sure Hunter's halloween costume did actually fit and he had not outgrown it. Thanks to Mimi, Hunter now has a new favorite toy - a Halloween bucket. He enjoys putting his toys in the bucket, dumping them out, and of course...eating the bucket! :) The outfit did still fit barely, but we were very glad that Halloween is only a week away! I am glad that Mimi and Pops got to see him try it on since they won't see him on Friday.

It was amazing how many new things he discovered at Mimi and Pop's house this time. He saw the stairs, handle on the recliners, hardwood floors, and so much more! I think his favorite new thing was his new fascination with Pixie (who is now 15 years old!!). As soon as we got there Thursday and Hunter saw Pixie laying in her bed, Hunter just knew he NEEDED her! He was willing to do whatever to get to her! Pixie however was not so sure Hunter "needed" her. No, Hunter will not be getting a puppy anytime soon!
