Our Little Jockey!

While in Fort Mill, we attended a Christmas Craft Fair at the Dairy Barn. Not only were there crafts to look and buy, but kids could also ride a horse there as well! Of course, we had one happy 2 year old! This horse he road was called Shortstop!
Then a teacher that Mimi works with invited us over to her barn to see and ride her horse named Toby. This time I actually rode with him. It was pretty neat but let's just say I wasn't the one saying "Yeeehaw" the whole way around the barn!
This is what Hunter's face looked like after being asked how he liked riding the horses...I guess that is what you call "priceless!"

Peyton's First Visit to Fort Mill

Since Peyton's birth in July, we had not gone to Fort Mill to Mimi and Pop's house to visit yet. We had seen them quite a few times but had not quite made the venture on the road for 2 1/2 hours yet. Reasons being that we had home Clemson football games, weddings to photograph, reunions to attend, and our sweet little baby Peyton is NOT a traveler. For some reason he is terrified when it comes to riding in a vehicle, which makes our life pretty crazy on the road sometimes!
Mama finally ventured out, alone I must add, to Fort Mill with the boys. It was nearing Thanksgiving and Dada had to work several more days before he got a break from work, so we decided to go on to FM to spend a few extra days with Mimi and Pop before Thanksgiving. When we first arrived, Pop was at work but we did get a few pictures with Peyton and Mimi to capture his first visit to Fort Mill.
Of course we had to get some with Hunter and his "best pal Mimi" as well!

While in Fort Mill, Peyton experienced his first "REAL" bath in a sink. He had been in a baby tub in the sink but never had actually sat in a sink for a bath. Just like all of his baths, he loved the bath itself but hated getting out and getting cold.

While in Fort Mill, our family decided to take some pictures. Michael and I went around trying out some different spots and used Hunter as our tester!

I even got one with my big boy!

If only had Peyton been looking at the camera!! This is definitely one of my favorite Bowman/Donald pics we have ever taken.
And of course, Peyton FINALLY looks at the camera for the SILLY pose!! Although he does have a look of what kind of family have I been born into! :)

I thought this was a pretty good pic of our family of 4!

Happy Birthday Mama!

I can't believe it..30 REALLY!!?? Boy am I old! haha...Thanks to my family, I got to enjoy a great birthday cake, open some great presents, go shopping at the outlets in Pigeon Forge, and spend time with my boys at Dollywood. This is the 3rd year going to Dollywood for my birthday and I have really enjoyed each and every time!
Peyton was a little too interested in the train to get him to pay attention to Dada but I was excited to get a picture with them both on my big day!

Since it was getting close to Christmas, Dollywood already had their decorations out and we were able to get some cute pictures around the park. Hunter decided to have a staring contest with a reindeer!
We had several "ooohhss and awwwss" over this pose in the park! :) My two little presents!!

Since Peyton is a little too young to enjoy the rides yet, he did great just chillin in his carseat and stroller most of the day. What a good sport!

Mama and Dada took turns riding rides with Hunter and the other one watching Peyton.

I was excited to get this family picture near the end of the day. Going to Dollywood got all of us in the Christmas spirit! Thanks for a great birthday everyone!! I am very blessed to have such wonderful family and friends!!

A Few Random Pics...

Since Peyton has now gained a little more control of his head and upper body, we decided to get out the Baby Einstein jumper. It was cute to see Big Brother Hunter helping Peyton learn all of the tricks to the jumper. I couldn't get over how Peyton just sat and watched at Hunter in amazement as he went over each toy on the jumper.

In between growing out of his small baby tub and getting his new bath duckie, Peyton took his first tub bath with Hunter. It was a little too difficult for Mama though and she will be glad to have a new tub for Peyton until he learns to sit on his own. It was sweet to see the two boys together in the tub though. Oh the fun times ahead!

Two boys addicted to Dada's cell phone?!?!?! OH NO!!!

Are there really babies out there that fit in a Bumbo or is it just my boys and their thighs? I'm certainly glad to have been given this Bumbo instead of buying it since neither one of my boys could hardly ever use it! I love my chunky leg boys though!

Halloween and Fall Festival

Happy Halloween our little pumpkin and Buzz Lightyear! What cuties!! We only took about 20 pictures before we got one where both boys looked like they loved each other and life! haha. This was as good as we could get!
Each year our church hosts a Fall Festival for the community. This was the first year in which Hunter actually participated in the games and activities. He really enjoyed jumping in the blowups and even loved flying down the steep slide all by himself!

Giddy-up Cowboy!

Who knew....our shy little Hunter LOVES to ride horses!!! We took a trip to a Horse Farm with our church children's department and thought we would waste our money taking him there, but I was definitely wrong! We couldn't get him off of the horses!!
There was a miniature horse there and I thought, oh if we get him on any of them it would be that one. Not at all. He didn't want to ride that one but one time and then he just wanted to ride the big horses the rest of the time.
I'm sure we will be looking into riding a horse again soon. Good thing horses cost too much or I'm sure he would be asking Santa for a horse!

Happy Birthday Dada!!!

Happy 3-0 Dada!!! I can't believe you are 30 years old!! I guess I can't talk. I'm not too far behind you! This was a great picture of Dada and his boys on his birthday. Hunter had just been to Mimi and Pop's house for a few days so we were happy to see him on Dada's bday!
Hunter got Dada a new device for his cell phone that he had been wanting. Now Hunter can listen to Mickey Mouse on Pandora anywhere we go in Dada's truck!
While in Fort Mill with Mimi and Pop, Hunter made his Dada a birthday cake. It was his favorite - Red Velvet with cream cheese icing. Hunter even added some sprinkles!

Happy 3 Months Peyton!

Thanks to a husband who takes awesome pictures, I have some wonderful 3 month pictures of Peyton! This are great and personally think we have two very cute boys! :) Peyton is really trying to hold his head up a little, so we were able to get a few shots that we haven't been able to do with him. He was really into smiling this day!

Happy Halloween!

We took the boys and went to find a pumpkin a couple of weeks before Halloween. We were going to try to go to a pumpkin patch but just decided to stop by a local Elementary School where they set up a pumpkin patch each year and buy one there. That patch was plenty big enough for Hunter to find his "perfect" pumpkin!
Even our little "Leader of the Patch" (according to his shirt) found his own little pumpkin!

Hunter really enjoyed carving his pumpkin!

He even helped Dada with the big pumpkin after he finished his.

Proud of his pumpkins!

This is what our little thumb sucker did while Hunter and Dada carved the pumpkins.

He did pose for a picture the next morning with his little pumpkin that Hunter had decorated for him!
